On yet another adventure, Terry Treetop finds himself lost after chasing a butterfly. While the woodland creatures would love to be able to help him, because not only is he lost-he is hungry, they can’t because they don’t have any people food and don’t know where he lives. On this adventure Terry figures out just how much he appreciates his own home and family and finds his way home.
This book is the perfect bedtime story, it isn’t too short or long, and the colorful illustrations are great for the kids. My oldest who is a young reader also likes to read this book by herself and though she doesn’t get all the words on her own, it is a great book for her to practice her reading skills with. It’s a cute little book with a good story line that once again teaches a lesson. A great addition to the “Terry Treetop Series.”
The kids absolutely enjoyed reading this book with me-at any time of day-but especially at bedtime. It was the perfect story to end the day with and taught appreciation for home and family while having a fun story line full of colorful pictures to keep their little minds’ attention. My daughter can read most of it by herself which she absolutely loves and I enjoy being able to get those few minutes to just spend a quiet moment reading with my kids. If you haven’t read any of the Terry Treetop Series, I highly recommend you do! It is a great book set and perfect for little children and toddlers.
