I absolutely love the expandable hose by Quality Source Products! It fits in a small plastic tote or conveniently in a drawer yet when the water is turned on it expands to a whopping 100 feet! This is perfect because I am able to use it for so many things! I can water the garden in the back yard or I can wash my car in the front. (our spicket is close to the middle of the side of the house). It reaches both very easily. I love that it is snag proof. It didn’t even get stuck in the rocks near the flower bed next to the house! I have been pretty rough on this hose-I’m not a gentle person at times and yet this hose has lasted!

I use these baking cups all the time. There are so many things to use them for! I love how non stick they really are. The first time I used them I still used non-stick spray in them, but after that I haven’t since. I found they come out easily every time no matter what. For ease I occasionally use regular muffin pans and put the cups in them, but for quicker baking, I just line these up on a cookie sheet and bake that way. Swing Dance for Beginners-DanceCrazy

 

If you have two left feet and have ever wanted to learn Swing Dance, this DVD is for you. I am not by any means a great dancer. My favorite move involved rocking back in forth in a slow dance fashion with my husband. But when I found this DVD I just had to try it! It sounded so fun and since I could do it at home, there was no embarrassing classes to take where I risked being the only person who couldn’t dance. While my husband was not home at the time, it was okay because the way they break up the instruction they show the male and female dancers separately and then show them together. My husband and I really liked the music on the DVD and how quickly we were able to pick up the dance moves on here to develop some form of technique. Swing Dancing Made Easy! I was excited when I received this DVD. I’ve been interested in Swing Dancing since watching an episode of “Dancing With The Stars” that featured swing dancing. I put the DVD in and I’ve been dancing ever since. I’m a child of the 1980s so I didn’t have much experience with this type of dance. The instruction on the DVD was helpful and moved slowly through the paces including partner connection and style. My girlfriend and I have practiced several times with it and have even gone out to one of the clubs to try out some of the moves. The music is great and really sets the mood. Cool! –L. This Temperature gun is so multi-purpose. I use it when cooking and my husband uses it for the electrical and also when he is working on the house on different projects. It has really come in handy. While it depends how close you are holding it how accurate it is, it still gets it with in about three degrees making it rather accurate for being a non-contact temperature gun. Beginning Pilates for Dancers

 

 

I absolutely LOVE this DVD. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this was my first time with Pilates, but I found it to be both one of the hardest workouts I ever completed and one of the most relaxing at the same time. It is to me a mix between strength training and yoga. And I like it. A Lot. It starts by warming you up for the coming exercises with deep breathing, stretching, and a lot of mind focus. Then, it is followed by 24 different exercises that are specifically chosen with all the different skill levels in mind, though this is a DVD for beginners. Don’t be fooled-some of these exercises look simple-and perhaps in execution they are-but they are effective as well. Each exercise targets a different body part/muscle group and really targets the muscles in a way you can feel it. Especially the next day. I couldn’t believe how much my muscles ached after doing this workout-and I loved it! (you know-pain is weakness leaving the body!)

I really liked the music used for this video and the step by step directions and different camera angles used. It was easy to follow and it really worked my body in a way I haven’t made it work since I have had kids. I have gotten very slack in my fitness life and this DVD was just the thing I needed to “ease” my way back into it while attaining results, having fun, and getting sweaty. It is a great DVD for learners because it does give such great direction and I have really liked doing this every other night. (I also just started Insanity) I am really excited to see my results and toned body in a few months after I’ve used this a bit longer!

The Ozeri  Pedometer is the best Pedometer I have ever used. It does so much for being so little! I love that while the screen shuts off, it is never truly off. I can sit down for a few minutes and the screen will shut off, but press the reset button and it turns on showing the accurate amount of steps taken and the time. On top of that, it records the amount of steps taken each day and resets each day so you can see how many steps you took that day. Despite it resetting each day, you can also press the mode button and see cumulative steps taken so if you want to keep track or have a set goal in mind for so many days etc. you can keep track of that as well.

I love that they show the steps at different angles and showing just the male and female dancers by themselves and also the couple together making it easy enough for a couple to learn their own steps separately and also together.

The dance I liked the most was the Waltz because it has always intrigued me and seemed so romantic to me. It was fun learning the steps with my husband and spending that time with him doing something new that we’ve never tried before. Again, the steps were simple to follow thanks to the different angles and simple directions the DVD offered and we picked it up in no time. The set comes with 7 DVDs that teach the waltz, foxtrot, rumba, and also swing dance. I found the Swing dance extremely fun too-but we definitely did not pick up the steps quite as easily as those for the waltz….Partly due to the fact we are not exactly great dancers and I am also a pretty slower learner at times.

I am definitely looking forward to learning the Rumba with my husband and having that fun time with him to learn something new as well as achieve some dancing skills. (I hope! 😉 ) I love the music on these DVDs and the dance conversation in them as well and the fact that you can tell this program is specifically designed for beginners. It was the first program I have ever tried that has truly taught me steps and helped me learn the different dances without much difficulty. (minus the few times we tripped over each other…but I’m sure that’s common-right? ) I can’t wait to see how great we get and possibly get the next Mastery system and learn more dance moves we haven’t tried before.
