Ramini Teacup Silicone Cupcake Liners

I really love these Ramini Brand teacup silicone molds. They are super adorable, easy to use, clean, and store, and great for quite a few different occasions. First off, they are white which make them perfect for any occasion because they will match any decor. Then they are silicone making them freezer, microwave, and oven safe. They cook evenly whether it’s brownies, cake, mini breads or whatever you happen to be making. They are oven safe up to 440 degrees, which in a way I find a little strange because not a lot is baked at 440 degrees, but at the same time, most baked goods aren’t baked at more than 425 anyways except for the occasional recipe that has it baked at 450, so it doesn’t really affect the ability to make fun and tasty treats in these particular molds.

These molds are super easy to clean, the cupcakes/brownies just slide right out so there isn’t much to clean out of them once the brownie or cupcake is taken out. I have actually just taken a sightly damp cloth and wiped them out pretty easily a few times. Other times all they needed was a quick rinse. These could easily be used for a few different events. I could see them being adorable for a baby or wedding shower, tea party, simple get together for the girls, etc. They wouldn’t even just be great for cupcakes/brownies, but also to hold little candies or to use for ice cream cups and a cute way to serve different desserts.

The Ramini teacup silicone molds are cute, easy to use/clean, and have been a huge hit when I’ve had friends over and my daughter is begging to use them for her very own tea party. These LED lights are great! The 10 foot string is the perfect length for me to use either on my front porch railing, or inside on our 3 foot tree. I always really like Jonathan Vine books. They don’t just offer a few recipes with no explanation. I have read quite a few of his books about Eating Vegetarian, Vegetarian Recipes, and a couple of others and have really enjoyed them. I equally like his book about Clean eating. I found this book very helpful. We are still young in our journey to eating clean and this book was very clear on the why, what, and how of eating clean. The recipes in this book are very good-even the kids enjoyed them. I liked that they were divided by entree type, such as appetizer, main dish, dessert, snacks etc. This is a great book for clean eating newbies-it basically does the planning and thinking for you. Cut out salty foods and sweets, eat more fruits and veggies, drink nothing but water-and make sure to get enough water…This book is a great tool and I find myself going back to it often to brush up or to find a yummy dinner recipe or snack for the kids and me.

A Father for Christmas

 

I am a huge fan of Rachelle Ayala. I have read quite a few of her books and have never been disappointed. They all feel so real and have just a hint of steaminess that really has a way of drawing you into the book. It never feels like you are just reading about other people, it feels like you are reading about a close friend or are one of the characters being drawn completely in and emotionally involved. A Father for Christmas is definitely not the exception. I got the ebook version of this book and found myself instantly stuck in the “pages”, unable to stop reading until I had finished. (which presented an issue when it came to getting anything done… 😉 )

A book of 152 pages it is the perfect size for an afternoon/evening read and it is not your typical Christmas book. While it is themed around a little girls desire for a Father for Christmas, it is wrapped around two characters, Kelly and Tyler who happen to be down on their luck and wildly misunderstood. The two get off to the wrong beginning when Kelly thinks Tyler is trying to kidnap her daughter who became separated from her in the mall, but after numerous run ins they begin to get to know each other with the help of Kelly’s mom and daughter.

It is wracked with suspense to find out if they will end up with each other as they each push the other away for one reason or another. Will Bree get her Christmas wish? The situations dealt with in this book are deep, yet are written in a way that they don’t come off as heavy or over bearing. I have really enjoyed reading this book and that it only took about two days to do so (had to take those unwanted breaks..). It was long enough to have depth to it but short enough it didn’t take weeks to finish. The book was overall well written and I enjoyed the romance, love, conflict, and resolution in this book.
